I’d guess from the name itself you’d get an idea on what makes this Greenwich coffee shop so famous. They have an amazing riverside view and a wide range of hot and cold drinks for anyone who’s looking to kick their feet up and relax with a good view!

We’ve never thought we’d stumble on to one of the best cafés in Greenwich when we walked in because from the outside of this Greenwich café, it might seem a little bit unassuming. But, make no mistake when we walked by, none of us could resist the smell of freshly baked scones coming through.
Monsoon cafe is an adorable little gem, hidden behind the narrow street, captured my heart. It was my first visit to a cafe in London following my arrival. The lovely lady behind the counter smiled warmly at me and welcomed me. The barista made my iced dirty chai with oat milk quickly and effectively. I also enjoyed a delicious and fresh fruit scone. If you would like to add a little spice to your tea, I strongly suggest trying the Masala Chai.

The borough of Greenwich is best known for their park and located in Greenwich Park is hands down the perfect place to relax and take in nature away from the hustle and bustle of the city streets. I cannot overstate how much I just love hanging out here because Pavilion Cafe not only has fresh coffee ready for you but a selection of croissants and pizzas that are packed with flavour!
The location in Greenwich’s park also means that it’s near London attractions that are certainly worth a visit, like the Old Royal Naval College or the National Maritime Museum or you could go to this cosy cafe after visiting them!
📍Charlton Way, London SE10 8QY, United Kingdom
This little tea room has been a monthly visit of ours for quite some time now so I can’t, in good conscience leave this one out in this best cafes guide. This Café offers, well, you guessed it, amazing tea! But not a lot of people actually know this but aside from their sweet and savoury cream teas and scones, they also have cool vegan options and freshly prepared dishes and fruit juices!
Just like the Pavilion Cafe, then it’s near the Royal Observatory so it’s literally a walk away from great attractions in North Greenwich. If that’s not enough to entice you then, the cute and cosy outdoor terrace is thrown in for good measure.

It appears to be a small family business and is a nice, welcoming place, which I love to support. We had a very tasty English breakfast that kept us full all day. The coffee was also excellent. Everything that was being served looked amazing, and based on the smiles, it was clearly delicious.
It was nice to escape the crowds of tourists in Greenwich, and the ten minutes it took to walk here was well worth it. When I’m in the area, will I return? Without a doubt!

Right inside the Greenwich market, you’ll find a small bakery with their speciality British pastry in full display. If you’re already in the market then chances are you’d spend quite some time inside, so it’s good to know that there’s a bakery capable of satisfying any sweet treat you fancy just moments away!
I had some of the best avocado toast I’ve ever had here. It was so delicious and refreshing and good value for money. They also have great brunch menus you could browse if you want to linger over brunch and enjoy a hearty meal. Last piece of advise is to order enough sourdough toasties for everyone, because they run out quick!
