My Picks for the best Brunch in Chelsea

Bluebird

One of the best places for an Instagram pic and one of Chelsea’s best brunch  spots. They did something a little different from other brunch spots in London with their decor, which they were able to combine two vastly different aesthetics with natural sunlight and botanist plants on one hand and metal and industrial beams on the other.

There’s a lot of standout dishes that you may want to try so here are some of my favourites just to help make the decision on what to order a bit easier. They had lovely avocado and poached eggs with sourdough toast and amazing eggs benedict. Oh, and one last thing, since it is a local favourite for weekend brunch, Bluebird chelsea might get a bit crowded and you’ll find a lot of people on queue but the wait is super worth it!

Granger and Co. Chelsea

Next up we have a Chelsea brunch that specializes in an Australian brunch feast! The interior is sophisticated and modern with shades of green and glass everywhere. Oh, and it’s super near Sloane Square station so you’ll be able to find this spot in Chelsea during the first 5 minutes of your visit!

Granger & Co. is a true gem. The ever-favorite ricotta pancakes were exquisitely fluffy, and the marriage of bananas and honeycomb butter brought a decadent, sweet creaminess. I would also like to highlight their lobster pasta which had big portions and were full of flavour. Even in busy times, they genuinely know how to make dining enjoyable and stress-free.

📍237-239 Pavilion Rd, London SW1X 0BP, United Kingdom

The Ivy Chelsea Garden

A courtyard with tables and chairs and a fountain.

The Ivy is actually quite well-known as one of the top brunch in London. It’s a very popular chain all across the city; each branch serving their own twists from their decor to the brunch menu you’ll keep coming back for. This spot is a nice addition to the Chelsea brunch scene and is also the perfect place to enjoy some quiet afternoon tea with cakes and pastries.

The indoor vibe is beautiful and serene but I highly recommend booking a table for their magical outdoor gardens, filled with flowers and fairy lights. The atmosphere goes amazingly well with their light weekend brunch menu. A couple of standouts are their eggs royale, buttermilk pancakes and of course, the classic English breakfast.

📍197 King’s Rd, London SW3 5EQ, United Kingdom

VQ Chelsea

A storefront with a sign that says dv.

What I love about this joint is not only is it one of the best spots for breakfast in Chelsea but you could all-day breakfast, for literally “all day”,  as they’re open 24 hours! Craving for a breakfast burger on a brioche bun at 2 am? Then head on over!

VQ Brunch Chelsea also has a super filling menu of Chicken and Waffles, ribs, calamari, and a lot more! This diner in Fulham is also super close to a lot of great bars in the area (we have guides for that too, don’t worry)  if you’re out pub crawling in West London then this would be a must-visit to get rid of that drunken hunger we all have before going home.

📍325 Fulham Rd., London SW10 9QL, United Kingdom

Rabbit

The interior of a restaurant with wooden tables and chairs.

Rabbit is a stylish Modern restaurant on King’s road is just oozing with charm from their big neon sign that says “Rabbit” and a little blue door to their wooden tables and red sofa couches. I absolutely love this joint as it reminds me of a homey and humble independent business run by a family, kind of what you see in the movies.

The reason they serve the best breakfast in Chelsea, is mainly because they use super fresh ingredients straight from their very own farm. They have a three-course brunch tasting menu on offer that I highly suggest trying out for yourself and if you pair that with something boozy like choosing from their list of the best wines available, or something classic like a bloody mary or prosecco, then you’re in for a good time!

📍172 King’s Rd, London SW3 4UP, United Kingdom

The Locals Chelsea

The interior of a restaurant with a lot of plants.

While the rabbit might have their own farm, the Locals Chelsea have found their own way of incorporating some “green” into their restaurant! From plants hanging on the ceiling and on shelves, to every dish being garnished with some leafy, even their pitchers have something leafy inside!

They mainly specialize in healthy and vegetarian food, hence the green stuff inside, but man, they do that so well! From their juice and smoothies that have intense flavours of the fruit it’s based on to their classic brunch options like feta avocado on toast.

Volonte Chelsea

Speaking of healthy food, why not try having brunch right beside a fitness studio? Volonte is available for anyone who wants to turn their workouts into a healthy brunch feast! Best of all, it’s also dog-friendly so we had a fun time just playing with the many cute dogs who would visit the place.

This was my go-to brunch spot before and was even a regular at their gym but I realized that it wasn’t a very financially smart decision. Don’t get me wrong everything is actually priced quite reasonably but when you eat their sweet potato fritters and breakfast bowls everyday, especially when you’re hungry and tired from a workout so you order more, you’ll find your wallet would suddenly become lighter.

📍299 Brompton Rd, London SW3 2DY, United Kingdom

The Goat Chelsea

A building with a black awning on the side of it.

Lastly, we can’t have any list about brunch spots without mentioning the best bottomless brunch in Chelsea! The Goat is, as the kids say, “The GOAT” when it comes to bottomless prosecco and unlimited pizza! (I know that wasn’t a good joke, please read on)

The staff are also super kind and friendly and even offered me a birthday treat which I just outright refused because I’m someone who can’t stand just sitting there while people clap and sing happy birthday to me.

This restaurant and bar absolutely excels in their pasta and pizzas with a bunch of toppings to choose from and all traditionally baked in a wood-fired oven.  Aside from the food their bottomless bubbles like the aperol spritz was amazing. They also have another place in South Kensington called the “Goat Tavern” if you want a taste of other drinks like their mojitos and mimosas!

📍333 Fulham Rd., London SW10 9QL, United Kingdom
