Coco Fresh Tea & Juice

Now we move on to one of the most recognizable names in London’s bubble tea scene. Known for their traditional Taiwanese bubble tea, using organic tea leaves and fresh juices, they have won numerous awards over the years and is actually one of the few places that have moved on from expanding their London branches to taking the world of Bubble tea itself by setting up international stores.

I always say if you want to have you’re first bubble tea experience, this is a great spot as all of their bubble tea stores are actually quite consistent and a diverse selection so you’ll quickly find a flavor of tea and juice that matches your tastes and experiment from there!

Gonuts Bubble Tea

If you’re looking to get your bubble tea fix in Central London, then I can’t recommend this spot enough! Though they have a ton of bubble tea options, I personally recommend their cheese tea latte as it not only was super creamy, but also a great value for your money! While my wife recommends the passion fruit tea as it was very refreshing.

What’s cool about shop is that they have the cutest bubble tea room, complete with board games and pastel colors! It’s one of the best spots to not only have great boba tea but also enjoy a laidback game night with your friends!

Ding tea London is quite popular in the city. It’s a bubble tea franchise that is priced quite reasonably and is super tasty! Stand outs for me were their brown sugar milk tea and their  matcha. Though the many bubble tea shops in London they have, I personally like their spot in Camden.

They have quick and efficient service and is one of the best bubble tea shops to go when you’re in a hurry and looking to grab you’re brown sugar boba milk tea in a hurry.

Dragon Cat Cafe

The front of a building with a sign that says bubble tea.

Unlike the last one, Dragon Cat invites customers to try bubble tea with a meal! They have great wheel cakes and rice burgers that perfectly complement their Japanese-style bubble tea! A good wheel cake should have a dense, gooey, and sweet filling that isn’t overly sweet, along with a thin but soft shell. Dragon Cat has perfected the ratio so that their wheel cakes are just the right amount of crispy, sweet, or cakey.

They have the ideal balance! To add a little spice, Dragon Cat developed new flavors like matcha and red bean and bubble tea in addition to their traditional cream and red bean varieties. They also serve these cakes with tuna, sweet corn, mash, and cheese fillings if you prefer savory foods!

Xing Fu Tang

The first time I’ve ever been at Xin Fu Tang was during our visit to Taiwan and after our visit to their cheese tea specialists in Taiwan, we were simply over the moon when we heard that they have their own great bubble tea shop in London!

It’s also nice that their brown sugar bubble tea and lemon milk tea haven’t changed recipes at all, and are exactly as tasty as the first time we had them!

📍29 Frith St, London W1D 5LG, United Kingdom

Kissaten

Kissaten is an anime themed spot with complete with gachapons! To those who are unfamiliar with what a gachapon is, it’s essentially a vending machine that gives you a random capsule toy. It’s surprisingly fun to spend a few pounds excited what kind of toy you’ll get, and if you’ve got a thick wallet, you could get an entire vending machine’s collection with enough tries!

I added salted cheese cream to my Oreo milk tea order. It’s among the best milk teas I’ve ever had, to be honest. Everything is perfectly balanced in terms of taste and quantity. When placing your order at the self-service kiosk, you can select the quantity of ice, sugar, and desired toppings.
