It’s also super refreshing to take a stroll around here as it’s mostly known for their green areas and the great view you have of the Thames. After taking in nature, you might feel a bit hungry and fortunately, Richmond has some of the best brunch places I’ve ever been to!
Check out some of the best one’s we’ve been able to find! Whether you’re a local or a visitor of London, these spots are worth checking out and I’m sure some of these might turn out to be your next favourite restaurant!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing brunch at 144 On The Hill in Richmond, and it was truly exceptional. Situated opposite the stunning Richmond Park, this restaurant and bar offers one of the best brunch experiences in the area. The elegant and relaxed atmosphere, combined with the breathtaking views of the Thames, creates the perfect setting for a leisurely weekend brunch.
It’s nice to see that they’ve completely revamped and changed their breakfast menu since the last time we were here. Now they’ve got terrific brunch options with filling portions! This is also part of the Richmond Hill hotel with a completely separate entrance so as a bonus if you’re looking for a place to crash and be treated to an amazing breakfast in the morning, you know where to go!

With an emphasis on using seasonal, fresh ingredients, the brunch menu is a delightful blend of Australian flair and international influences. The avocado on toast, which was tasty and beautifully presented, and the fluffy, light buttermilk pancakes were my two favorites. The expansive drinks menu at the restaurant offers something for everyone, and the terrace is a great place to enjoy your meal.
We went here for a birthday party and their friendly staff offered us some lamington cake on the house! I’d dare say it’s one of the best places to eat for anyone who’s craving some authentic Australian cuisine.

Situated right on the Richmond Riverside is an amazing 3-star hotel and is the downright the perfect spot for Sunday brunch! Last time we stayed here we were treated to speciality coffee right beside a real fire place and with an amazing view of the river.
They’ve got everything you might need for a top brunch experience, from an extensive drinks menu, very well-presented and popular brunch dishes, a view along the Thames, and located right in the heart of Richmond. It’s convenient, tasty, and well-worth the price so what more could you love?

After a lovely stroll around the river and Richmond Park, we wound up at the beautiful Terrace Gardens and we were delighted to find the best place to unwind and stretch our legs after a few minutes! Hollyhock specializes in vegetarian snacks and vegan breakfast dishes.
The food at this place is fantastic and, even better, incredibly reasonably priced, which was actually kind of surprising since they had amazing views of the Thames and the lush area of the gardens. I used to regularly come here for lunch and breakfast whenever I find myself on West London. There was nothing on the menu that was not delicious. They offered a good assortment of teas as well.

Just like the last one on this list, this restaurant in Richmond offers panoramic views near the Thames that you could view right outside! The restaurant is classy and offers modern British cuisine with French influences. They also have a good selection of wines.
The food was very nicely prepared and mostly consisted of modern takes on British classics, such as carved tableside Scottish smoked salmon and Dover sole. This is undoubtedly a stop worth making when you take into account the views, simple parking, and top-notch service.
📍Nightingale Ln, Richmond TW10 6UZ, United Kingdom
In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful brunch spots in Richmond! The Ivy Cafe is mostly known for their freshly baked pastries and cakes but their menu includes a great Full English breakfast that you could modify with a few vegan options.
Though, having a delicate pastry in one hand and a mean ol’ cup of joe in the other would make for an amazing breakfast in Richmond, The Ivy’s more filling menu offers are simply amazing and absolutely worth checking out. Try out their eggs benedict with smoked ham and you’ll find yourself coming back for more!
📍9-11 Hill St, Richmond TW9 1SX, United Kingdom
Everything is delicious and in the fresh air. I came in to take a little a break from my hike. And they are incredibly kind and helpful. I purchased a flat white and a chocolate cinnamon for £6. Did I mention that they make bread? The coffee is also excellent, and it has a monochromatic, Japanese- or Dutch-style aesthetic.
Their sourdough was so top-notch that we just had to take a few loafs back home! It’s great this joint is just a short walk away from Richmond station so you could easily grab breakfast early in the morning, speaking of breakfast, try out their crispy bacon with poached eggs!
