What makes Covent Garden Bars so Great?

  1. Pre- and post-theater crowds – The proximity to theaters and opera houses provides a built-in customer base of theatergoers looking for pre- and post-show drinks.
  2. Al fresco drinking – Outdoor seating areas allow drinking in the lively piazza, great during warmer months.
  3. Pedestrianized area – The piazza is mostly pedestrianized, making bar-hopping easy without traffic.
  4. Independent businesses – Unlike some areas dominated by chains, Covent Garden has many independent, one-off bars.
