Renowned comedian John Mulaney is set to make a triumphant return to Netflix with his latest offering, “John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s In L.A.” The streaming giant announced the six-episode special on Monday, coinciding with the highly anticipated Netflix Is a Joke Fest.

Exploring Los Angeles with Comedian Friends

According to the trailer, Mulaney will navigate the streets of Los Angeles alongside his fellow comedians, promising viewers an entertaining exploration of the city’s vibrant comedy scene. The special is scheduled to debut on May 3, with additional episodes livestreaming from May 6 to May 10.

Star-Studded Line-Up

The Netflix Is a Joke Fest will feature a stellar line-up of comedy heavyweights, including Chris Rock, David Letterman, Jerry Seinfeld, Hannah Gadsby, and Seth Rogen.

With over 300 stand-up shows, sketches, and special events, the festival promises an unforgettable experience for comedy enthusiasts.

In addition to the star-studded roster, the festival will feature appearances from a diverse array of talents, including Kevin Hart, Ali Wong, Chelsea Handler, Maya Rudolph, Nate Bargatze, Nick Kroll, Kumail Nanjiani, Tim Robinson, Sebastian Maniscalco, and Patton Oswalt.

Notably, even personalities like Tom Brady, known for his comedic roles in rental car commercials, are expected to make an appearance.

Festival and Mulaney Success

Taking place across 35 iconic entertainment venues in Los Angeles, including The Greek, The Dolby, and The Hollywood Improv. The live special marks another milestone in Mulaney’s collaboration with Netflix, following his previous stand-up specials such as “John Mulaney: Baby J” (2023), “The Comeback Kid” (2015), and “Kid Gorgeous” (2018).

Mulaney has also garnered acclaim for his role as the self-gratifying addict Andrew in the animated series “Big Mouth.” That’s not all, this comedian also made headlines, when he made a brief appearance at the Oscar’s just announcing an award – fans are just asking for Mulaney to replace Kimmel on hosting the next Oscars, you can read more about that HERE!
