Spencer Jones, renowned for his prop-based comedy, gears up for his first-ever UK tour, hitting the road from September 15th to October 24th, 2024.

A Comedy Extravaganza

Critically acclaimed comedian Spencer Jones, known for his quirky performances, is embarking on his inaugural UK tour this autumn.

With two BAFTA nominations under his belt, Jones promises an unforgettable experience filled with his signature visual gags and nonsensical musical comedy.

I have never toured before. Finally, she is letting me out of the house! Only joking, she’s glad to get rid of me, and by her, I mean my dog Mya. She’ll get to hang out with my partner on her own without me complaining about her terrible breath, the dog’s breath. She has bad breath. Not my partner. No problems there.

Show Highlights

The tour comprises two distinct halves, offering a blend of classic favourites and brand-new material. Jones explains:

The first half of the show will be all the best bits from my previous five shows jammed together like a pilled up DJ’s playlist. But instead of dancing you’ll be laughing. Dance if you want though, I’m not the fun police. And the second half of the show is the story of what happened and how I lost my mind moving to Devon.

Jones’s move to Devon during lockdown provides fodder for hilarious stories about making new friends and dealing with unexpected challenges, including befriending a potentially aggressive cockerel.

Audiences can also expect a delightful journey through Jones’s acclaimed live shows which are: ‘The Things We Leave Behind’, ‘Making Friends,’ ‘The Audition,’ ‘The Herbert in Eggy Bagel,’ ‘The Herbert in Proper Job’, and ‘Spencer Jones is The Herbert.’

He also co-created, wrote, and directed episodes of the innovative ITVX series “Deep Fake Neighbour Wars,” which utilized AI to transform impressionists into famous celebrities embroiled in everyday neighborly disputes.

Jones gained recognition as the creator, writer, and star of the BAFTA-nominated BBC show “Big Babies.” His extensive TV credits also include appearances on popular shows like “Ted Lasso,” “Upstart Crow,” “Live at the Apollo,” “8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown,” and “Harry Hill’s ClubNite.”
