A few months ago I was on a mission to find the best breakfast places in London and I was absolutely delighted to hear that the small neighborhood of Camden is filled with them! To top it all of most of their brunch includes hours of bottomless drinks, that were tailor-made to complement their food.

As soon as you enter, you are greeted by the enticing aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods. I tried their avocado toast which came perfectly grilled and topped with a beautifully poached egg, chili flakes, and microgreens on thick multigrain bread. Beyond their toast menu, Ripe Kitchen serves up pancakes, granola bowls, shakshukas, and other brunch favorites using the freshest local ingredients.

Starting off this list with my favourite go-to spot for coffee. Ripe Kitchen just has this vibe that makes you want to kick up your feet, order a few pancakes and just enjoy a calm breakfast in Camden, definitely recommended!

2. The Blues Kitchen Camden

If you’re looking for a lively southern-inspired brunch with live music, The Blues Kitchen Camden is one of the most entertaining spots in town. I recently tried their weekend bottomless brunch and loved the funky New Orleans vibe and delicious Cajun-Creole dishes. The two hours of free-flowing cocktails like Aperol spritz and bloody marys definitely helped liven up the atmosphere.

With its southern comfort food, live music and unlimited brunch cocktails, The Blues Kitchen is hands-down one of the most entertaining and delicious brunch spots I’ve tried in Camden. I’ll definitely be going back for more of their mouthwatering chicken and waffles!

3. Camden Diner

With tasty American breakfast in a fun retro diner setting, Camden Diner is one of the best brunch spots in Camden. I recently tried their weekend brunch and loved the classic diner fare and throwback atmosphere. The menu is full of hearty breakfast options like fluffy pancake stacks with crispy bacon, breakfast burritos loaded with eggs, cheese and salsa, and all your breakfast classics like eggs benedict.

Best part is if you want to wash it all down, they serve up bottomless mimosas and bloody marys, a great way to start your day. The red leather booths, neon signs, and oldies playing in the background provide a quirky, nostalgic vibe

4. Purezza Camden

I’m always on the hunt for the best brunch spots in the city. On a recent weekend, I checked out Purrezza Camden for their acclaimed vegan brunch menu. Located right in the heart of Camden Town near the bustling Camden Market, Purrezza brings a unique vegan twist to classic brunch dishes.

For my main course, I opted for the Full English breakfast, hold the sausage. The dish came beautifully presented on an artful slate plate. It included a flavorful tofu scramble, sautéed mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, baked beans, and toasted sourdough bread.

5. Greenberry Cafe

Tucked away on a charming side street near Primrose Hill, Greenberry Cafe has a cozy, bohemian vibe that makes it the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend brunch. I visited on a sunny Saturday morning and was delighted by the laidback atmosphere and eclectic decor featuring rustic wood tables, vintage mirrors, and fresh flowers

The reasonable prices provide good value for the neighborhood. With its charming setting and tasty food, it’s easy to see why Greenberry Cafe is considered one of the best spots for brunch in Camden. I left feeling happily fueled by my meal and ready to explore more of the area, already looking forward to returning!

6. The Fields Beneath

Inside, the decor is warm and eclectic with rustic wood tables and vintage accents. I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs, which arrived beautifully presented on artisan sourdough bread. The avocado was perfectly ripe and creamy, topped with two poached eggs with bright orange yolks that cascaded luscious yolk when broken.

The chili flakes provided a nice subtle heat. I also tried their freshly squeezed orange juice, which tasted like pure liquid gold. In addition to the avocado toast, The Field’s Beneath offers an array of breakfast wraps, omelets, pancakes, and other brunch fare sourced from local suppliers

7. Near & Far

I recently tried their unlimited brunch menu on a Saturday morning and was thrilled by the variety of options. The menu included fluffy buttermilk pancakes topped with fresh berries that were light and perfectly cooked. I also tried one of their signature vegetarian breakfast tacos loaded with scrambled eggs, cheese, pico de gallo, and avocado – it was a tasty combination of textures and flavors.

To drink, they offer bottomless bloody marys and mimosas, which our server kept flowing to our table.  Two hours of unlimited and bottomless drinks is such a good deal, especially considering that Near & Far’s small plates and weekend brunch menu perfectly complement each other!

8. Lost Elephant’s Kitchen

The Lost Elephant’s Kitchen has quickly become a popular brunch destination in Camden for its extensive and creative breakfast menu served in a cozy, tropical-inspired setting. When I visited, I was impressed by the variety of unique brunch dishes like their Turkish breakfast pot with slow-cooked eggs, pastırma, and roasted peppers.

What I especially love about this place was how attentive and open to criticism the staff were. You would often find them actively trying out new dishes or asking their customers how’s the food they serve, and this passion absolutely shows in the tasty food they serve.

9. Cafe Mexicana

I visited on a Saturday for their weekend brunch service, which runs from 10am to 4pm. Their brunch menu focuses on traditional Mexican breakfast dishes like huevos rancheros, chilaquiles, and breakfast burritos. I tried the huevos rancheros, which came with fried eggs, refried beans, Mexican rice, avocado, pico de gallo, and warm tortillas on the side.

The dish was full of bright, fresh flavors – the refried beans and rice provided a hearty base, while the salsa and avocado added a nice kick. The tortillas were perfect for making tacos with the runny egg yolks. The service was also excellent – our waiter was attentive and gave great recommendations from the cocktail menu, like the refreshing michelada.

It’s one of the best places for a bright and lively Camden brunch, the place if full of color and the music practically draws you to dance!

Laz in Camden offers a delightful brunch experience with its warm and inviting Mediterranean ambiance. The brick-lined walls, mid-century lighting fixtures, and serene vibe provide a cozy backdrop for the flavorful Turkish small plates on offer.

Brunch cocktails like their signature Laz Sunrise with vodka, orange, and pomegranate are also available. With authentic Turkish flavors, reasonable prices, and a relaxed vibe, Laz brings a taste of the Mediterranean to brunch in Camden.

The staff were super attentive and patient considering it was my first time ordering Turkish food, they were more than happy to help me with my choices.
