Larry Dean launched his stand-up career in 2010 while studying at the University of Southampton. His show ‘Out Now’ candidly shared the experience of coming out to his strict Catholic family. ‘Farcissist’ (2016) delved into his life after coming out, navigating a long-term relationship, and reentering the dating scene. ‘Fandan’ (2017), a critically acclaimed show, cleverly weaved tales, including one of an encounter with two murderers in a café, making it a hit at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
In 2017, he graced the stage of ‘Live at the Apollo,’ showcasing his talent alongside Gary Delaney. Larry also engaged in hilarious roasts on Comedy Central UK’s ‘Roast Battle’ against Sofie Hagen and made appearances on ‘Mock the Week’ in 2018 and ‘Michael McIntyre’s Big Show’ in 2019. His act masterfully blends his Glaswegian accent and his journey of self-discovery, delivering comedy that’s both thought-provoking and humorous.
