Leo Kearse, famous for being the anti-woke comedian, made his return to GB News last night after a two-week absence due to allegations of posting racist comments on Telegram.
Controversy Surrounding Leo Kearse
Hope Not Hate claimed that Kearse was the owner of a Telegram account that frequently sent offensive remarks. The ‘Neo Glave’ account was discovered to have cheered the terror attack on the Moscow Crocus City Hall theater, made disparaging remarks against Chinese, Russian, Asia and people from Central Europe.
Hope not hate is an organization who for over 20 years campaigned against racism and fascism. They have a library of data-driven research, guides, and in-depth investigations on the far-right groups. Telegram channels such as the one Neo Glave is on, is a red dot to this organization.
The account promoted pseudoscientific theories claiming that individuals in northern latitudes are generally “more intelligent” in comparison to those in other regions of the world along with homophobic and misogynistic comments.
Controversial Comments
The Neo Glave account user, according to Hope Not Hate, frequently referred to people in Asia and Central Europe as “street-shitters,” calling Chinese people “tiny cocked submissive c***s.” He also said that Chechnya is “full of backwards street s***ting goat f*****s,” and that Russia is a “backwards s**thole country full of street s***tting sister fucking peasants.”
‘Glave’ wrote on social media following the terrorist attack by Islamists in Moscow’s Crocus City Hall theater, which claimed the lives of over 130 people: ‘I knew those bastards would come good sometime.’ The account is a supporter for Ukraine but not because of any ethical reason but because he sees Russia as multicultural and “Islamified”.
‘Glave’ also flaunted his wealth and said that he would be moving to Australia or America because of how rich he is and also mocked the current cost of living crisis in the UK by saying that the only difference he noticed is the cost of energy and petrol.
Strangely enough the ‘Glave’ Account also bragged about the times he caught STDs because they were from beautiful women and not “bog monsters”.
GB News and Leo Kearse’s Absence
GB News has not responded to questions about Kearse’s absence or his reappearance on the channel. He was absent from the channel for around two weeks, to which speculation arose that he was suspended until the claims are cleared.
Kearse has also not responded to a request for comment on the allegations nor has he addressed them on his social media pages. The comedian was back on the newspaper review programme Headliners last night, with no mention made of the controversy around him.
