Kate Barron

Kate, a talented stand-up comedian and writer based in London, originally hails from Vancouver. She kickstarted her comedy journey in Toronto and has since lit up stages across North America and the UK. Kate’s comedic prowess has earned her coveted spots at renowned festivals like JFL42, Off JFL + Zoofest, SheDot, NXNE, and HBO’s Women in Comedy Festival.

Notably, she made history by becoming the first woman to clinch victory at the Toronto Comedy Brawl, triumphing over 400 fellow comedians. Kate’s performances have included opening for comedy luminaries like Sam Jay from Saturday Night Live, Chris Redd, and the Comedy Cellar’s own Nathan Mackintosh.
