Sara Barron is a rising star of the UK comedy scene. Since her debut at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2018, she has starred on shows such as Live at the Apollo, Would I Lie to You?, and Frankie Boyle’s New World Order. She has also released three critically acclaimed stand-up hours: For Worse (2018), Enemies Closer (2019), and Hard Feelings (2022).
Barron is a powerhouse live act, and her shows have received rave reviews from publications such as The Times, The Guardian, and The Scotsman. She was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2018.
In addition to her stand-up work, Barron has also appeared on TV shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats, Hypothetical, and Richard Osman’s House of Games. She is also the co-creator and co-host of the hit Succession recap podcast Firecrotch and Normcore.
Barron is also a writer, and she has published two essay collections: People are Unappealing and The Harm in Asking. Her writing has also featured in Vanity Fair and on This American Life.
