Matt is a doctor, much to his parents’ pride, and a stand-up comedian, much to their initial confusion. They’ve since relaxed as he now performs in comedy clubs they’ve actually heard of, including the Comedy Store, Backyard, and Covent Garden. In 2018, Matt was a finalist in the Leicester Square New Comedian competition, and in 2019, he reached the finals of the Hackney Empire NATYS.

He has also been a semi-finalist in prestigious competitions like the BBC New Comedy Award, Amused Moose New Comic Award, and So You Think You Are Funny. Balancing a medical career with a burgeoning comedy presence, Matt’s unique perspective and sharp humour make him a rising star in the comedy scene.
