Andrea Hubert

Andrea Hubert, a versatile talent, wears many hats – comedian, writer, and even dabbles in amateur taxidermy, having lovingly preserved one mouse named Alan. Since 2010, Andrea has graced stages across the UK with her stand-up comedy.

Her debut Edinburgh show, ‘Week,’ in 2016, received glowing reviews despite the challenging venue conditions. Following up with ‘Holes of Joy’ in 2018, Andrea continued to impress, earning accolades including praise from Scotsgay.

Beyond the comedy circuit, Andrea contributes film articles for The Guardian Guide and crafts comedy for television. She’s penned sketches for BBC’s ‘Walk on the Wildside’ and E4’s ‘Mad on Chelsea.’ Notably, Andrea also lends her wit to crafting corporate tweets.

In 2013, alongside her writing partner Ryan Cull, Andrea clinched the BAFTA Rocliffe New Comedy Writing Forum, leading to the sale of their first sitcom to the BBC. Currently, they’re finalizing their inaugural feature-length script, hopeful it finds its audience amidst societal shifts or, failing that, delivers laughs at Speakers Corner amid airborne rubbish. Either way, Andrea promises to give it her all.
