In 2018, announced on BBC One’s The One Show, Gledhill won the Caroline Aherne Bursary, receiving a cash prize and mentoring from a BBC editor. Teaming up with Chris Cantril in 2019, The Delightful Sausage’s show ‘Ginsters Paradise’ earned them a Best Show nomination at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 2021 saw Gledhill in the BBC Two comedy series Alma’s Not Normal. Fast forward to 2022, Gledhill made her solo debut at the Edinburgh Fringe, receiving Best Newcomer and Best Show nominations for ‘The Girl Before The Girl You Marry’ and The Delightful Sausage, a rare feat. 2023 marked her solo UK tour after a Soho Theatre success. Nominated at the UK National Comedy Awards, Gledhill continues to shine in stand-up and podcast hosting.
