Alistair Barrie
Alistair Barrie is an esteemed headliner in the world of international comedy. He has gained recognition for his performances at renowned venues like London’s Comedy Store and has entertained audiences in over 40 countries, including notable shows in Australia, Cape Town, Mumbai, New Zealand, and the iconic Comedy Cellar in New York.
Not only has Alistair made numerous appearances at major UK music festivals such as Glastonbury, Latitude, Bestival, and Green Man, but he has also brought several successful solo shows to The Edinburgh Festival. In 2013 and 2015, his shows were even nominated for ‘Best Show at The Fringe,’ with the latter transferring to The Soho Theatre in London for an extended run. In 2015, he was a runner-up in the English Comedian of the Year competition. Alistair’s 2018 show, ‘The InternationAL,’ premiered at the Melbourne Festival and later received a coveted five-star review from The Scotsman during its Edinburgh run. It went on to sell out its entire run at The 2019 New Zealand International Comedy Festival. Following a sold-out limited run in 2021, Alistair returned to Edinburgh in 2022 with the critically acclaimed ‘Alistaircratic,’ earning high praise from The Herald as one of the UK’s sharpest comedians.

He holds the distinction of being the only comedian to have performed at both the Labour and Conservative Party conferences.
