Following the success of its first series, What Just Happened? is set to entertain audiences once again with its witty commentary on current events. Robin Morgan, who co-created the series with Henry Widdicombe, expressed his excitement about the renewal, stating,

I’m thrilled the show’s coming back – never has there been a better time to look at the news in Cymru and beyond.

While the first series was recorded in Cardiff, the second series will hit the road, with recordings in front of live audiences in Bangor, Monmouth, and Aberystwyth.

Morgan and Pritchard-McLean are eager to engage with audiences across the country as they bring their unique brand of comedy to new locations.

We’ve got a general election looming, a heatwave in the post and a brand new First Minister in Wales. If this isn’t the best time to welcome back a new series I don’t know when is?

With a new series comes new opportunities. What Just Happened? is putting out an open call for new Welsh or Wales-based writers to contribute topical jokes. Those interested can register their interest by emailing submissions@littlewander.co.uk before the deadline.
