Renowned British TV personality Paddy McGuinness is set to make a comeback to the world of stand-up comedy after an eight-year hiatus. McGuinness will be performing a series of work-in-progress shows at Darwen Library Theatre and Bury Met throughout September and October, leading up to his first major stand-up tour in nearly a decade.
McGuinness, known for his iconic roles in TV shows like Phoenix Nights, Max and Paddy, and The Keith and Paddy Picture Show, as well as his hosting gigs on programmes such as Take Me Out and BBC’s Top Gear, is gearing up for a return to live comedy.
Following the success of his sold-out stand-up tours across the UK, McGuinness is eager to take the stage once again after the release of his autobiography, ‘My Lifey,’ in 2021.
It’s been eight years since my last tour and there’s lots of things to laugh about! I’m looking forward to getting back in front of a live audience, along with running the gauntlet of cancel culture, click bait and fake news!
Tickets for his work-in-progress shows are expected to sell out quickly, so comedy enthusiasts are encouraged to secure their seats early for an unforgettable evening with Paddy McGuinness.
